Sanibel

Here I am in the studio with T.Graham Brown recording "Sanibel"

I wrote “Sanibel” on a really cold night sitting at my kitchen table. You know those cold days when you want to be on the beach? That is what was going on. I was really happy with the sonic quality of the song. I pursued an “island feel”, but I didn’t want to chase a Kenny Chesney or a Jack Johnson sound. I also had T. Graham Brown singing on the track. That was a challenge for me because his voice is freaking huge!

I truly appreciate his taking the time to work with me, his voice has always been one of my favorites.
